About NSW FSS Certificate Recertification (online)

NSW Food Authority approval number: 24249

The NSW FSS Recertification online course is designed for people who already hold a current NSW Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) Certificate and require recertification. The course fee is $130, which includes the NSW Food Authority fee of $30 for issuing the new NSW FSS Certificate — no hidden extras.

Important: NSW FSS Certificates are valid for 5 years and must be renewed every five years. This recertification pathway is not suitable for anyone without a current NSW FSS Certificate. If your NSW FSS Certificate has expired for more than 90 days, you must complete the full NSW FSS Certificate training course (fees apply).

You must complete the recertification requirements within 90 days of the 'Refresher Due' date on your current NSW FSS Certificate.

Your registration is valid for 3 months from the payment date. You can request an extension at no extra cost — contact us to request this. After successful completion and assessment, your new NSW FSS Certificate will be issued within 5 business days.
