ACAA - NSW specific customised training for Aged Care and Retirement VillagesDelivering Tasty Food and Beverages Safely at ACAA NSW - Progam focuses on food handling in aged care facilities in line with NSW food safety laws, the requirements found in the National Food Standards Code, the Vulnerable Persons Food Safety Scheme, the NSW Food Act 2003 and the NSW Food Authority. The accredited courses cover basic food handling and prevention of food poisoning, the development and implementation of a Food Safety Program and the requirements of a Food Safety Supervisor. Non-accredited workshops cover, catering overview for management staff, the role of the internal food safety auditor and Nutrition and Menu planning for elderly.
